Dr. Jay Pratt

Visual Cognition Laboratory

In our laboratory, we conduct research on visual cognition and motor control. Our studies investigate age-related changes in memory and attention. Recently, we have become particularly interested in how aging alters the way people move their eyes when scanning a visual scene. Our laboratory has access to several EyeLink eye trackers, which non-invasively record participants eye movements while they complete a task. Gaining a better understanding of how the eye movement system changes with age will allow for new insights into age-related changes in how humans acquire information from their visual field.

Further information, including contact numbers, are available at Dr. Pratt's personal website.
