Social Psychology Reading Group
Members of the Social Psychology Reading Group meet monthly to discuss recently published journal articles in social psychology. Participating in the Reading Group allows members to foster intellectual discourse in an informal setting, to keep up with journal reading, to cultivate critical analysis skills, and to increase contact between faculty and students.
The group meets once a month, for one hour, in the 4th floor psych lounge in Sidney Smith Hall. Readings are selected by group members. Please contact Dr. Michael Inzlicht (michael.inzlicht@utoronto.ca) if you'd like to be added to the mailing list.
Philosophy Reading Group
The Philosophy Reading group aims to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to gain exposure to philosophical ideas that could potentially broaden and enrich our perspective on psychological issues.
This group meets once every two weeks, for one hour, at the Graduate Student Union pub (16 Bancroft Ave) during the summer months. Please email Alexa Tullett (alexa.tullett@utoronto.ca) if you wish to be added to the email list, or if you have suggestions for readings.
Personality Discussion Group
The Personality Discussion Group meets once a month to facilitate discussion among faculty and students who are conducting research in the field of personality processes and/or individual differences. The meetings of the group are devoted to discussing recent or in progress articles (based on group members' interests) and informal presentations by group members. If you would be interested in being added to the mailing list, please email Stefano Di Domenico at s.didomenico@utoronto.ca or Judith Gere at judith.gere@utoronto.ca.
