RESEARCH
My research aims to understand the impact of stereotypes on stigmatized group members under conditions of complexity. As such, I focus on how people with more than one stigmatized group membership (e.g., female minorities) are perceived by others and how these individuals cope with the multiple forms of prejudice they face. This approach to stereotyping and prejudice research captures the enormous diversity in our social world, as people are, perhaps, the most multifaceted and complex stimuli we can ever expect to encounter.
