Biography : 

Michael Inzlicht conducts research that sits at the boundaries of social psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience. Although he has published papers on the topics of prejudice and religion, today he is most interested in the topics of self-control, effort, and fatigue. He is deeply interested in how to boost self-control, how to increase people's effort willingness. He is also interested in the topic of empathy and compassion, asking how often people empathize and the psychological costs (e.g., fatigue, burnout) of empathy.

Michael is a first-generation college student.
