Biography : 

Dr. Adrian Nestor is the director of the Visual Recognition Laboratory and an Associate Professor with the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto. He completed his doctoral training in Cognitive Science at Brown University, after which he joined the Department of Psychology and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition at Carnegie Mellon University as a postdoctoral fellow and, subsequently, as a research scientist. Dr. Nestor's research focuses on neurocomputational aspects of visual processing and on the development of novel methods for the analysis of neuroimaging data. To this end, his work involves neuroimaging (EEG, fMRI) and neuropsychological investigations along with behavioral psychophysics and computational modeling of visual processes.
